A centre that brings together experts and young people who think and act innovatively, take an active stance and promote open, modern education.
The Open Education Academy is a community of experts and young people who think innovatively and promote open, modern education. We teach foreign languages, help teenagers choose a career, advise on studying abroad and run intercultural exchanges.
We work at the meeting point of formal and non-formal education: classes, clubs, projects, trips and events, where knowledge grows out of practice and real conversation. Behind every programme are practising teachers, psychologists and trainers who keep learning themselves.
The areas the Academy is built around. Each is ongoing work with continuous enrolment, not a one-off event.
Brings together everyone who wants to start learning English, keep up their level or deepen their knowledge — children from age four, school and university students, and adults. A separate strand is preparation for the international exams needed to enter universities and programmes abroad.
A resource and advisory centre for international exchange programmes and academic mobility. We help you gain the experience of studying and living in another country, develop your language and intercultural communication skills, get to know other education systems and open up career prospects.
The “Future Professionals” programme — modern career guidance for teenagers: training in personal and professional skills led by practitioners and psychologists, career trials, themed camps and one-to-one career counselling.
Socio-psychological programmes, intensive courses and training led by practitioners. For children — developing thinking and speech, emotional intelligence, school readiness, rhythmic movement and creative activities. For adults — working with conflict, goal-setting, anti-stress leadership and team building.
For children and adults, amateurs and professionals. Individual and group lessons, online learning, corporate tournaments and chess camps for children.
UN SDGs
The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a call to action for all countries: to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure people’s well-being. The Academy builds its work in line with this agenda and is closest to three of the goals.
Inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities. Education is the key to the other goals: it helps people live healthier, more stable lives, increases tolerance and helps build peaceful societies.
Equal rights and opportunities for all women and girls. It is a basic human right and a necessary foundation for peace, prosperity and sustainable development; fuller participation of women in society accelerates economic and social growth.
The sustainable development agenda cannot be delivered alone. It needs partnerships at global, regional and local levels, built on shared principles, values and goals focused on the interests of people and the planet.
